¹ Lifetime coverage applies only to eligible mechanical fittings, hinges and drawer runners. Baskets, storage accessories and push-to-open mechanisms follow their separately stated periods, including when they are Blum or Lavaredo branded.

² Made-to-measure cabinetry using Lavaredo’s standard approved materials and construction is not automatically special-order work. The two-year special-order period applies to work specifically identified as such in the agreed sales documents. Separately itemised standard components retain their own category periods.

³ Compact Sets and Concrete Kitchen Door Panels have a two-year warranty for residential, commercial and project use. They are separate from the five-year standard residential built-in cabinet category and must be identified in the sales documents.

Commercial and project work has two-year coverage for the main product categories. The specific exceptions remain: plumbing connections, three months; lighting, one year; and electrical appliances, the relevant brand’s terms.

2. Use classification and eligible products

2.1 Residential use. Products used in a private home for normal domestic purposes and not purchased under a project supply or installation contract.

2.2 Commercial / project work. Includes hotels, business-operated rental accommodation, restaurants, cafés, offices, shared facilities, and project supply or installation contracts with developers, contractors or project operators, including residential developments. Record the classification in the sales documents before purchase. An individually commissioned home installation is not project work merely because it is made to measure.

2.3 Eligible products. Products must have been supplied by Lavaredo or an authorised dealer and be identifiable from sales records or other reasonable evidence. Other-brand fittings without a period specified in the schedule follow their brand terms and the arrangements disclosed before purchase. Any separate manufacturer warranty rights remain unaffected.

3. Covered defects and the meaning of lifetime

3.1 Coverage. Covers defects in materials, manufacture, product assembly or fabrication, and covered mechanical malfunction arising during normal intended use with appropriate care, within the relevant period. Countertop coverage includes defective fabrication or joints attributable to Lavaredo’s work; it is not cover for damage from every cause.

3.2 Lifetime. Coverage for the eligible hardware component continues for as long as the furniture containing it remains in normal residential service at its original installation site. It does not mean a person’s lifetime, a lifetime warranty for the entire furniture installation, or free lifetime on-site service.

3.3 Installation and plumbing. Plumbing coverage applies only to connections made by Lavaredo, not the whole building’s plumbing system. Lavaredo’s responsibility for its own installation work remains governed by the installation agreement and applicable law. Product warranty periods do not create lifetime free adjustment or maintenance services.

4. When coverage starts

Coverage starts on the date installation is completed and the work is handed over, as recorded in the handover documents. For phased handovers, each delivered item or area starts separately. Supply-only orders start on delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Occupation, business opening or a later onward sale does not restart the period. An uncompleted warranty record does not itself remove coverage where purchase details and dates can be established by other reasonable evidence.

5. How a covered defect is remedied

Lavaredo will assess the claim and propose repair or replacement of the affected component, without charging for covered parts. On-site and other service costs are addressed in section 6. A defective component does not automatically entitle the customer to replacement of the entire installation. If the original is discontinued, a functionally and qualitatively equivalent replacement may be proposed, with material differences explained before work. Reasonable colour or pattern differences may occur compared with an existing, aged installation.

A repaired or replaced component remains covered for the remainder of the original period, rather than starting a new period. Eligible lifetime hardware retains its original lifetime coverage on the same terms. Statutory rights and remedies remain unaffected.

6. Service charges

Product coverage does not automatically include free on-site attendance. Customer-payable costs must be disclosed in writing and approved before a visit. The service arrangements confirmed in the sales documents take priority. Unless otherwise agreed, the following rates apply to service in Thailand:

Bangkok and surrounding areas
Travel charge: THB 2,000 per visit.
Outside Bangkok and surrounding areas
Labour and travel start at THB 2,000, increasing by THB 25 per kilometre from the factory to the customer’s site.
Safe customer self-replacement following Lavaredo’s guidance
No on-site attendance or travel charge. Any shipping method and cost must be disclosed in advance.

The service quotation must identify the applicable area, distance and journey-counting basis, any separately charged labour, VAT treatment, and necessary additional costs such as tolls, ferries or accommodation, showing the total before approval. Undisclosed or unagreed extras must not be charged. Non-warranty repairs require a separate quotation.

Charges do not apply to costs Lavaredo must bear under law or its agreed obligation to rectify its own work. Export freight and overseas on-site support follow the agreed sales and service arrangements. These terms do not promise free worldwide site visits.

7. Items outside this express product warranty

Handles, shelf supports, cabinet legs and aluminium plinths are excluded unless separately covered in writing. This does not exclude Lavaredo’s responsibility for defective installation or the customer’s statutory rights.

8. Excluded damage

8.1 Normal wear, cuts, scratches, abrasions, fading, natural changes in colour or material pattern, and cosmetic ageing that do not result from a covered defect.

8.2 Impact, accidents, overloading, climbing or sitting on parts not designed for that purpose, excessive heat, misuse, or unsuitable cleaning products or tools.

8.3 Standing water, prolonged wetness or dampness, moisture from walls or floors, spraying or washing furniture with water, mould, and leaks from external systems or equipment, except where caused by defective Lavaredo work that remains covered or for which Lavaredo is legally responsible.

8.4 Building electrical or plumbing systems, abnormal electrical supply or water pressure, fire, flood, earthquake, gas leaks, animals, insects, termites or wood-boring pests, where not caused by a defect for which Lavaredo is responsible.

8.5 Damage caused by improper relocation, alteration, repair or installation by others. This exclusion applies to causally related damage and does not automatically void coverage for unrelated components.

8.6 Installation in locations or conditions inconsistent with the approved design or requirements, pre-existing site defects, or building movement. Necessary fixing marks agreed in advance are not product defects; this does not exclude damage caused by Lavaredo’s defective installation.

8.7 Stains on natural stone or other non-synthetic stone, unless separately warranted in writing. The stain exclusion will not be used to remove coverage for an otherwise covered material or manufacturing defect.

9. Making a warranty claim

9.1 Report the issue. Contact the Lavaredo showroom, dealer or service representative identified in the sales or handover documents. Provide the buyer’s name, order or invoice number, installation address, affected product and a description of the issue, with useful photographs or video. Original documents are not essential where other reasonable evidence is available.

9.2 Limit further damage. Report promptly, stop using an unsafe component and take reasonable steps to limit further damage. For a leak, stop use or isolate the water supply where safe. Do not dismantle or repair equipment where this may be unsafe. Retain relevant parts for inspection.

9.3 Assessment and service. Lavaredo will review the information and may request additional evidence or inspect the site. It will explain the outcome, proposed remedy, any charges and an estimated schedule based on parts and site availability. Reporting an issue before expiry does not lose eligibility solely because inspection or repair occurs later.

9.4 Review. The customer may request written reasons for an assessment and ask Lavaredo’s service team to review additional evidence. The Company’s assessment does not remove the right to complain or pursue legal remedies.

10. Care and site access

Use products for their intended purpose and within specified load limits. Wipe up spills promptly; avoid standing water and repeated exposure to steam or excessive heat. Use heat-resistant mats and cutting boards on countertops, and cleaning products appropriate to the material. Check plumbing connections and report leaks or abnormal conditions. Routine maintenance and adjustments unrelated to a covered defect are not warranty repairs.

Before service, provide safe access, remove contents from the affected cabinet or work area, and arrange any building access requirements. Removal or reinstatement of non-Lavaredo finishes and work caused by site-access restrictions must have its scope and costs agreed in advance. This does not change responsibilities Lavaredo already has under contract or law.

11. Appliances and independent installers

Electrical appliances follow the relevant brand’s terms, including any disclosed registration and service procedures. Lavaredo will help direct service enquiries for appliances purchased through the Company, but does not automatically extend the manufacturer’s warranty. This does not remove statutory rights against the seller.

Where a dealer or independent contractor installs the products, identify the installation provider in the sales documents. Damage caused by that installer’s work is not a Lavaredo manufacturing defect. Unrelated product defects remain assessable under these terms.

12. Application of this edition and statutory rights

Edition LV-WAR-2026.2 applies to orders incorporating this edition into their agreed sales terms. It does not reduce warranties already promised on earlier orders. Project-specific or item-specific terms must be agreed in writing before purchase. Future revisions do not retrospectively reduce rights on confirmed orders.

This warranty provides the additional rights described here. It does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited. The Thai and English texts are intended to be consistent. If they differ, the Thai text governs sales in Thailand to the extent permitted by law, without reducing rights granted in the sales documents.

Frequently asked questions

Is the whole kitchen covered for a lifetime?

No. Lifetime coverage applies only to eligible mechanical fittings, hinges and drawer runners by Blum or Lavaredo in residential use. Cabinets, countertops and other components follow their own periods. It does not include free lifetime site visits.

What is the warranty for Compact Sets and Concrete Kitchen Door Panels?

Two years for residential, commercial and project use. These categories are not included in the standard five-year residential built-in cabinet warranty.

Do Blum baskets or push-to-open mechanisms have lifetime coverage?

No. Baskets, storage accessories and push-to-open mechanisms have five-year residential and two-year commercial/project coverage, including when Blum or Lavaredo branded.

Is every made-to-measure kitchen special-order work?

No. Standard approved cabinetry made to measure is not automatically special-order work. The two-year special-order period applies to work identified that way in the agreed sales documents. Separately itemised standard components retain their category periods.

Does registration start or activate my warranty?

No. Coverage starts at installation completion and handover, or delivery for supply-only orders unless agreed otherwise. Registration helps with support. Other reasonable evidence may establish the purchase and relevant dates.

Are visits and labour always free during the warranty?

No. Covered parts and on-site services are different. Any customer-payable charges must follow the sales arrangements and section 6, be disclosed in writing and be agreed before service. Costs Lavaredo must bear under law or an agreed obligation to rectify its own work are not charged to the customer.
